I just love fashion. I think it just expresses who you are so much.

Hope you are all doing well. I just got back from my trip to Udaipur and I thought of sharing my outfit that I wore for my cousin’s engagement with you all. You guys sounded super excited after the sneak peek I gave you of the outfit on my social media so I decided to go ahead with a whole post. The best part about the outfit is that it is designed by me from scratch.
I have always had a creative side to me and wanted to be a fashion designer. Though I ended up doing MBA, I feel that I can still design as your creativity comes from inside and the courses that we do just gives us some sort of direction and enhances our skills. Many of you girls think that I am a fashion designer or I have a fashion background but I am no where related to fashion. I just did a little modeling during graduation in Pune and won some titles but apart from that, I have a pure business management background. If you are creative then you don’t need a course, you just believe in yourself and put your mind to it.
Sometimes I have certain outfits in mind and certain colors that are hard to find. Also, you don’t want to go searching for it online as you never know what it will look like in real. I don’t mind shopping western wear online but I never take chances with traditionals. Most of my Indian wear are designed and stitched by my mom. It’s super convenient to get things stitched from your mom haha. Anyway, so I wanted to wear a combination of bright pink and orange. I have always loved this combination and I think that it stands out a lot in crown. I got a shimmery golden cloth with orange/ pink embroidery on it, hot pink pure raw silk and white soft net. I got the raw silk lining on both my lehenga and the duppatta and got the net colored hot pink, same as the blouse.
I wanted to have a simple yet elegant lehenga. Something that doesn’t look too flashy and is comfortable and I wanted to dance my ass off. The duppatta covered my neck so I kept my neck bare but wore some really heavy jhumkas from Meena Bazaar with a similar kundan ring on one hand. I have just put on my mac compact on face with a little pink powder blush from Colorbar and orange powder lippy from L’Oreal. I have to tell you that this orange lippy is love! You should definitely get it. The back of my blouse is pretty simple and deep with a tie up knot on the top.
Check out the pictures below! These were taken in Devigarh palace in Udaipur.

I hope you guys enjoyed reading the post and loved the lehenga. I have a lot of weddings to attend this year so I will keep coming up with new designs for you all.
